divers, photograpers, adventurers, discover european nature with us!

We are Czech tourist company and PADI 5Star Dive Center sharing our passion & knowledge since 1996. If you are nice person, if you love nature and if you wish to discover new dive sites, environments and adventure you are on the righ place. We will be happy to assist you to discover beauty of European cold water scuba diving.

We know how to keep you warm!

European cold water destinations and dive sites offer really cool experiences and we feel to be experts to guide you and/or teach you. Cold water diving can be fun and comfortable. There are not unacceptable cold conditions for scuba diving. There are just improper equipped and clothed divers. In scuba diving generally, divers should follow safety rules and respect both persoal exprience and environment. We dive according to these simple rules and have big fun!

To visit famous dive sites is nice but we want more. We love to seek for new adventures, search for small crystal clear water lakes hidden in the mountains, try to dive or snorkel with whales in cold seas or discover beauty of ice-hummocks at arctic circle.

    open water diver

If you’ve always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalleled adventure and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it starts. Get your scuba diving certification with the PADI Open Water Diver course – the world’s most popular and widely recognized scuba course. Millions of people have learned to scuba dive and gone on to discover the wonders of the aquatic world through this course.

    advanced open water diver

You don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed to advance your diving, so you can start right after earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification. The course helps build confidence and expand your scuba skills through different Adventure Dives. There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives.

    rescue diver

Scuba divers describe the PADI Rescue Diver course as the most challenging, yet most rewarding course they’ve ever taken. Why? Because you learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, and become more confident in your skills as a diver, knowing that you can help others if needed. During the course, you learn to become a better buddy by practicing problem solving skills until they become second nature.

    divemaster

Love scuba diving? Want to share it with others on a whole new level? Take the PADI Divemaster course and do what you love to do as a career. Scuba divers look up to divemasters because they are leaders who mentor and motivate others. As a divemaster, you not only get to dive a lot, but also experience the joy of seeing others have as much fun diving as you do. The PADI Divemaster course is your first level of professional training.

    dry suit diver specialty

Want to stay warm? Want to extend your scuba diving season? Then dive dry. A dry suit seals you off from the water and keeps you comfortable, even in surprisingly cold water. There is incredible diving in the world’s cooler regions and in some areas, conditions are even better in colder months. Becoming a dry suit diver allows you to expand your boundaries and dive more places, more often.

    ice diver specialty

If extreme, unusual and challenging scuba diving scenarios appeal to you, try diving under the ice. Ice diving is one of the most adventurous scuba specialties because you confront conditions and see beauty few others ever experience. Plus, you might get a chance to play with your exhaled bubbles on the bottom of the ice. Flash your PADI Ice Diver certification card to get instant respect, and usually a lot of questions from other divers about what it’s like under the ice.

    enriched air diver specialty

The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba course. Why? Because scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive scuba dives. If staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing, then don’t hesitate to become an enriched air diver.

    sidemount diver specialty

Having scuba tanks on your back isn’t a requirement for exploring the underwater world. Many scuba divers have discovered the joy of mounting cylinders on their sides. Sidemount diving gives you flexibility and streamlining options. Plus, you don’t have to walk with heavy cylinders on your back – just enter the water, clip them on and go. Sound interesting? Sign up for the PADI Sidemount Diver Specialty course.

    wreck diver specialty

Whether purpose-sunk as an artificial reef for scuba divers, or lost as the result of an accident, wrecks are fascinating windows to the past. Ships, airplanes and even cars are fascinating to explore and usually teem with aquatic life. Each wreck dive offers a chance for discovery, potentially unlocking a mystery or spying something others have missed. The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course is popular because it offers rewarding adventures while observing responsible wreck diving practices.

    underwater digital phographer specialty

Underwater photography is one of the most popular diving specialties, and with so many underwater cameras to choose from, it has become easier and more fun than ever to capture images of your underwater scuba adventures. The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer course gets you going quickly, whether you use a point-and-shoot camera or a sophisticated dSLR like the pros.

    tec 40

The PADI Tec 40 course is where you transition from recreational scuba diving to technical diving. It’s a great place to start because it’s the first subdivision of the full PADI Tec Diver course and bridges the gap between no stop diving and full technical deep decompression diving. You gain experience and begin building the knowledge and skills you need to continue your tec diver training. You will qualify to make limited decompression dives to 40 metres/130 feet.

    tec 45

The PADI Tec 45 course is the second part of the full PADI Tec Deep Diver program. You’ll extend your depth limit to 45 metres/145 feet and learn to plan and execute repetitive decompression dives using a single stage/decompression cylinder. It puts you in a complete tec diving rig, which can be either backmount or sidemount. You’ll also make accelerated decompression dives using EANx or pure oxygen. This is a course where you’ll rise to the challenge and make the commitment to become a technical diver.

    tec 50

The third part of the full PADI Tec Deep Diver program is Tec 50. As a Tec 50 diver, you show that you’ve developed competency as a tec diver and have the skills to dive to a maximum of 50 metres/165 feet. You know how to make extended, accelerated decompression stops using up to two gases. It’s not easy to reach this level and earning your Tec 50 certification opens the door to deeper diving expeditions.

    technical cave diver

Cave diving is without doubt one of the most challenging and rewarding forms of diving you can undertake. Hidden beneath our feet is a whole new world of mystery and wonder waiting to be discovered - the ASTD Cave Diver programs are your ticket to this magical world of underwater caves and their natural wonders.

    tec trimix 65

If you’re into technical diving then you know that to extend your depth range you need to use trimix – a blend of helium, oxygen and nitrogen. The Tec Trimix 65 course introduces you to using trimix down to a maximum depth of 65 metres/210 feet. There are advantages to using three gases, but you need to know how to do it right. Earning the Tec Trimix 65 certification makes deeper exploration a reality.

    tec full trimix

Ready for the outer edge of technical diving? The Tec Trimix Diver course takes experienced tec divers and turns them into extreme divers who go deeper and visit pristine sites where few others will ever go. During the course, you’ll make dives as deep as 90 metres/300 feet, but once you earn this tough certification, there are few limits. Your training teaches you to build experience gradually and you do it because you’ve made it this far and have more exploring to do.

  • Baltic wrecks

Wreck diving in cold Baltic waters probably does not attract everyone. The water temperature, visibility, and depths of wrecks require detailed preparation, use of extended diving equipment, perfect planning of team collaboration as well as very good level of diving skills.

There is a long peninsula from at the north of Gdansk and at the end of it you can find is small turistic town Hel. Taking into consideration the positioning of many whrecks around, the Hel harbour is the best place for daily diving trips to the sea.

The whole area may be divided to two parts. Among peninsula, Gdansk and Puck is the Puck bay and to the north of the peninsula, there is an open sea. There are many wrecks in both areas. The advantage of the bay is the fact, that a lot of interesting wrecks are very close to the harbour and the sailing time is a question of minutes, while it takes hours to reach wrecks at the open sea. On the other hand, the visibility is usually better at the open sea, ranging between 15 and 20 meters compared to 10 meters in the bay. However the above may change depending on sea currents and on the season.

    season

    May, June, September.

    Sample Itinerary

1st day: Arrival to the destination, accommodation.

2nd - 6th day: diving program, 2 dives per day. Baltic wrecks are placed in various depths. Wide range of divers may accomodate their diving programme here depending on the level of their skills – be it advanced recreational divers diving wrecks in depths around 20 - 30 meters, or technical divers with air as a bottom gas while using nitrox for decompression after dives to depths around 30 – 40 meters, or trimix divers, who may explore wrecks lying below 40 meters. It is very cold and dark in depths below 40 meters at Baltic sea. Divers should also count with nitrogen narcosis and also pretty usual occurence of rests of fishing nets torn by and remaining on the wrecks.

place & how to get there

Our program begins in town of Hel. Small tourist town offers several hotels, guest houses and pensions. The harbour now serves primarily as a yacht marina, though there are some fishing boats and ferries to Gdańsk, Sopot and Gdynia in the summer.

There is popular beach along the shore between the inner and outer harbour walls, with a seal sanctuary (the Fokarium) just behind it. A Fisheries Museum, Hel that forms part of the Narodowe Muzeum Morskie w Gdańsku can be found in an old church on the sea front. The most easterly edge of Hel, which was once a military territory, can now be accessed by the general public making it possible to walk all the way around the peninsula.

    prerequisites

Baltic wreck Diving programme participants must be experienced with dry suit diving. Administrative requirements of Polish dive centres is qualification and experience adequate to planned diving profiles. Local offices require wreck diving qualification.

To use two independent regulators, as well as two cutting tools and two lights are mandatory required, as well as buoy and reel, we would also recommend that you get the above mentioned experience by taking adequate diving classes (Tec diver certification) prior you start your journey to the north of Poland.

    price

    650 EUR.

The price includes 6 days of accommodation, 5 days of diving.

The price can vary depending on duration of your programme and the level of required accommodation and transportation.

  • Green lake - scuba diving is unfortunately not allowed there any more.

Lake is located in Styria, Austria at the foot of the snow-capped Hochschwab mountains. During winter, the lake is only 1–2 meter deep and the surrounding area is used as a county park. It is a particular favourite site for hikers. But as the temperature starts rising in spring, the ice and snow on the mountaintops begins to melt and runs down into the basin of land below. The lake swells up to engulf the entire area including the park up to 12 meters of depth.

    season

    June

    Sample Itinerary

1st day: Arrival to the destination, accommodation.

2nd - 3rd day: diving program, 2 dives per day. The temperature of the lake is rather cold at 4 to 8 °C, yet it’s popular among divers who can observe the green meadows in the edge zone of the lake particularly in June when the water is at its highest. The alpine grasses and flowers of the meadow are visible in full bloom under the water. Divers can even see benches, a bridge and walking trails.
